Let me introduce myself. My name is Crystal and I am a portrait photographer from Taber, Alberta, Canada. I am married to a wonderful husband who supports all my crazy endeavors. We have 4 boys who keep us on our toes!
I have been involved in the Arts for as long as I can remember! I joined the drama club in Jr. high and was awarded "Most Outstanding New Performer" for my role as Ms. Stacy in our club's rendition of Anne of Green Gables. I was classically trained in voice and piano until the age of 17, competing in front of music adjudicators on a yearly basis. Now I enjoy a rousing night of karaoke and singing my heart out to Sheryl Crow's "If It Makes You Happy" in the car!
I have always loved to create. Whether it was pencil, paint or pastels, I have always loved colour! As I went through the different mediums presented to me, I developed a love for photography during the last years of high school. I spent hours in the dark room learning to develop the rolls of black and white film that I was shooting. My darkroom is now digital and I am no longer limited to black and white film!! My love of colour has never diminished.
I enjoy taking your images and turning them into art that you can be proud to share with family and friends. I like to think of myself as a picture maker rather than a photo taker. Each image is unique and deserves time dedicated to making that shine through!
I am always learning and looking for new ways to bring my vision to life or add that “something else” to my repertoire. I try to bring a dream like feel to all of my work. You'll always find vibrant colours, creamy skin and a dream like quality to my portraits.
